In order to ensure all monthly horse-training clients receive the utmost attention, Jon will be limiting his monthly trainees to four horses a month. All scheduling will be done by Denice, so please email her at  dthurs@yahoo.com  or call (206) 276-7668 for availability.
 
Beginning Ranch Roping series Friday nights 6-8pm, December 28, 2007, January 11, 18th, 25, and possibly February 1st and 8th, 2008.  Consecutive evenings.  $50/evening.

 

Jon Ensign 2-day Colt Continuation, combining Groundwork and Foundation classes to accomplish two goals, (1) to assist participants in progressing their recently started (or restarted) colts or horses under Jon's direction, and (2) to offer other participants a brush up on foundation skills and keep their horses going during the winter.  January 19-20, 2008.  $400 for both days, 9am - 3pm.

 

Beginning Cow Working, introducing your horses to cows and beginning cow work.  January 26-27, 2008.  $400 for both days, 9am - 3pm, plus $25 cow fee.

Richard has received the NRCHA Superior Title on 7 horses, been NRCHA finalist and Top Ten numerous times, Received numerous Hackamore, 2-rein, and Bridle Championships, and the only rider to have won NRCHA Triple Crown Hackamore on a 3-year old.

November 18, 2007, 4H Discussion of Laminitis

CANCELLED: March 8, 2008, 4H Discussion of Laminitis and How to recognize lamenesses.  The March 8th Educational Series has been cancelled.  Please check back in the future for the next scheduled date.

v   How to Identify Appropriate Balance, & Distortion, in Your Horse’s Feet.

v   How to Look at and Understand Foot Falls (how the foot meets the ground).

Drive down between the Barn and Covered Round Pen.  Parking is behind the barn or below the farrier shop.
